RippleX, the developmental division of Ripple, has unveiled the XRPL Japan and Korea Fund in an effort to stimulate innovation, foster partnerships, support startups, and promote community growth in the Japanese and Korean markets. The fund is now open for applicants and aims to encourage the development and incorporation of XRPL-based solutions in these regions. It will provide financial backing and resources for corporate collaborations, startup investments, developer grants, and community expansion. The goal is to expedite the adoption and utilization of the XRP Ledger in these markets by inspiring new ideas and innovations. This announcement comes on the heels of SBI Holdings, a Ripple partner, minting non-fungible tokens (NFTs) on the XRPL for the 2025 World Expo in Osaka, Japan. Additionally, Ripple has extended its collaboration with Archax, the first registered crypto exchange and custodian in the United Kingdom, with the aim of introducing a significant volume of tokenized real-world assets to the XRP Ledger.
