Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse expresses his excitement regarding the growth of community events centered around XRP. In a tweet, Garlinghouse specifically highlights noteworthy occasions such as the recently concluded XRP Gold Coast 2024 conference and the upcoming XRP Las Vegas and XRP Ledger Apex events.
These events are organized by members of the XRP community with the aim of fostering engagement and collaboration within the ecosystem. The XRP Gold Coast 2024 conference, held in Australia from March 22 to 24, featured an impressive lineup of keynote speakers including Massachusetts senatorial candidate John Deaton and Jay Kambo, founder of the SpendTheBits payments platform.
XRP Las Vegas, hailed as the largest XRP conference in the world, is a two-day event taking place today and tomorrow (May 3 – 4) in Las Vegas, United States. The event serves as a platform for blockchain enthusiasts, industry leaders, and innovators from around the world to come together and exchange ideas. Attendees will have the opportunity to learn more about XRP and the latest developments surrounding its underlying blockchain, XRP Ledger (XRPL). Renowned industry experts have been invited to speak on four major topics: TradeFi/DeFi, builders, policy, and Web 3. The speaker lineup includes Ripple CTO David Schwartz, Uphold CEO Simon McLoughlin, Chamber of Digital Commerce founder and CEO Perianne Boring, Linqto COO Joe Endoso, Miles Franklin CEO Andy Schectman, and Congressman Wiley Nickel. The list also features pro-XRP lawyers such as Attorneys Jeremy Hogan, James Murphy (aka MetaLawMan), and Deaton. Although Garlinghouse is not listed as one of the speakers, he may attend the XRP Las Vegas event as a guest of honor.
Furthermore, Ripple is the main organizer of the XRP Ledger Apex event, which will take place from June 11 to 13 at the Postillion Hotel & Convention Centre in Amsterdam, Netherlands. This year’s edition is expected to attract over 700 attendees, with more than 70 speakers and 40 sessions. Tickets are still available for purchase, and early birds can secure a pass for $150 before prices increase.
Some of the notable speakers at XRP Ledger Apex include Tauvlo CEO Guillermo Alda, Phi Wallet CEO Eslam Anbar, Ripple’s Head of DeFi Products Jasmine Cooper, Credefi Finance CEO Ivo Grigorov, and Axiology founder and CEO Marius Jurgilas. Garlinghouse has revealed his plans to attend the XRP Ledger Apex summit in June 2024 and is eager to meet numerous members of the XRP community.
