The SHIB community has been warned by the Shiba Inu ecosystem team about deceptive individuals seeking to exploit unsuspecting investors. Lucie, the marketing lead, emphasized the presence of malicious actors in the crypto industry who pose as harmless but have ulterior motives. However, she also highlighted that encountering scammers will only strengthen the community’s commitment to establishing an honest and reliable ecosystem. These warnings come at a time when scams are on the rise ahead of the Bitcoin Halving event, which is expected to fuel a bull run. Analysts have recommended various tokens for investment, and scammers have taken advantage of this by launching fake tokens within the Shiba Inu ecosystem. These fraudulent tactics often result in losses for investors. The official Shiba Inu ecosystem scam channel, “Shibarmy Scam Alert,” has also issued similar warnings about scammers, cautioning community members about their tactics and advising them to follow official team members. Additionally, the founder of Shiba Inu, Ryoshi, has previously warned about scammers, stating that those who honor Shiba Inu are friends, while those who exploit it are scammers. It is important for community members to be cautious and only trust those who genuinely support Shiba Inu.
