In his post, Kusama expressed his admiration for the beauty of the moon, a sentiment he shares with all members of the Shiba Inu community. He also wished everyone a peaceful holiday season, drawing excitement within the community about the future of Shiba Inu ecosystem tokens like SHIB, BONE, and LEASH, with many believing they are headed “to the moon.”
The concept of “to the moon” in the crypto world signifies a strong belief in the potential for a token’s price to soar. While Shiba Inu investors connected Kusama’s post to crypto, the moon holds significance in Islam as well. Its sighting on specific days marks important festivals like Eid-el-Kabir, celebrated this year on June 15-16 by the Muslim community to honor Prophet Ibrahim’s obedience to God.
This year’s Eid-el-Kabir coincided with several other special days, including Father’s Day, International Day of Family Remittances, Bloomsday, and Veggies Day. In light of these celebrations, Kusama extended warm wishes to the Shiba Inu community.
Kusama, who had been silent on X for some time, broke his silence with this post. His previous X post on June 5 thanked Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin for his comments on celebrity-owned memecoins. Buterin outlined three criteria for earning his respect, including a public-good goal, longevity of over ten years, and engaging mechanics beyond trading.
Kusama found Buterin’s post timely as he was preparing to discuss the same topic in a meeting. Following the tweet, Kusama was inactive on social media for nearly two weeks. With his recent post over the weekend, it is expected that Kusama will become more active on X and share updates on ongoing developments within the Shiba Inu ecosystem.
