BlueBit, a top cryptocurrency exchange, has announced the integration of Shibarium, the L2 blockchain of Shiba Inu. This integration allows users to deposit and withdraw Shiba Inu ecosystem tokens, including SHIB, LEASH, and BONE, through the BlueBit network.
The interest in Shibarium continues to grow, as more exchanges show support for the network. BlueBit took to Twitter to announce the successful integration of Shibarium into its platform. The exchange believes that this integration will strengthen the bond between the Shiba Inu and BlueSparrow communities, leading to even greater achievements.
Terri Bennett, the Chief Operating Officer of BlueBit, expressed her excitement about the integration, calling it the “best news.” She commended the BlueBit team for their accomplishment. The official Shiba Inu’s X handle also expressed gratitude to BlueBit for their support.
BlueBit, established in 2022, is a centralized exchange based in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines. Since its launch, the exchange has supported over 100 cryptocurrencies, including BTC, ETH, XRP, and ADA. It now also supports the Shiba Inu ecosystem tokens, such as SHIB, BONE, and LEASH.
With the integration of Shibarium, BlueBit users can now withdraw their SHIB, BONE, and LEASH tokens to their native Shibarium wallet.
BlueBit is not the only exchange that has added support for Shibarium. Gate.io and GroveX are among the top exchanges that have already integrated with Shibarium. Additionally, wallet providers like Frontier have also added support for Shibarium, while platforms such as Exodus and Atomic Wallets have plans to support it in the future.
As Shibarium gains support from more platforms, its user activity is expected to increase significantly. Currently, the total transactions on Shibarium stand at 412.2 million. Although the daily transactions on the network have decreased from around 7.5 million in December to around 6,700, the integration with BlueBit and other platforms is likely to boost these numbers.
According to Shibariumscan, the number of wallet addresses on Shibarium has reached 1.38 million, and the total blocks minted is around 3.81 million.
